Great edc sling

I’ve been using the Vertical Sling for a few weeks now and I love it! I carry a variety of things…from an art bag to edc items or sometimes both, this bag has the ability to do it all. I would recommend this bag, however, be considered to a larger size, a Vertical Sling Plus. Just large enough to accommodate an A5 sketchbook or Bullet Journal.

Vertical sling

I already had to modular slings, and I really liked them, but found them just too small for my liking. The vertical swing was the perfect solution for me and while I am home and not traveling, this is my EDC. Love the vertical sling.

Perfect size, shape and materials for my needs.

Great solution to carry my full Alpaka Zip Pouch Pro EDC++ while traveling, and for urban day-out carry. Pro Strap add-on was a disappointment, but that’s in a separate review. Really like the top gusset opening and orange lining, making contents easily visible and accessible. Great quality materials and workmanship. One suggestion for improvement: to improve the strap fit, and not twist the strap, relocate the two bottom attachment points to a vertical (vs diagonal) position near the bottom on both sides. ALPAKA vertical sling bag

Solid overall

I bought this to carry a Sony A6400 through Glacier National Park and for concealed carry back home in NJ. It wasn't big enough for the Sony with the lens I had on it, however it's great as a travel bag for passports, power cables, etc. Also works well with my Sig P365XL. Great build construction and quality material. Kept my gear dry while hiking through Glacier and love the color combination of green/orange. I opted for the thicker magnetic sling which works great. Overall pleased. It is a little smaller than I thought so I'll likely look for a slightly larger one for my next purchase.

I'm surprised after a couple of months

Like many people here who know about Alpaka gear, I have a lot of bags...all kinds, shapes, colors, sizes, materials, etc. and I usually switch off depending on my needs of the day or just my mood. I still switch bags if I need a backpack but I'm almost always just using a small sling and this vertical sling from Alpaka has been my 'go-to' bag of choice since I got it. I usually just wear it over one shoulder, by the way, (and not crossbody) and it perfectly holds my wallet, keys, phone, Altoids first aid tin, and some other small things. I also put on my own little shoulder pad (Alpaka should really include one IMHO) to keep it in place and it is a pleasure to use almost daily. The quality of the materials, the look of the gray x-pac, the pockets, and how they put it all together is superb and I really appreciate it very much.

Versatile EDC carry Bag

I already have the Metro pouch which I find is a great EDC bag. What I sometimes found was when having to carry 2 mobile phones along with wallet & other bits and pieces, I was a little tight on space. If you are in this situation then this is a great back up bag. It’s more roomier so therefore more space. This allows me to carry a little more. Great build quality, great zips. Very pleased with the bag. Just gives me that flexibility by owning this bag and slightly smaller Metro bag. Satisfied customer!

Great for EDC

I have the horizontal and love it for my day adventure pack. I purchased the vertical to try as my carry pistol bag. Love it and gets me confident to be in places to not worry when not using a holster.
