I found that this backpack is just what I needed for my work, it is very compact and stylish. I have my water bottle , umbrella, iPad mini, medications and all other small gadgets nicely fit in side pockets . It gives easy access whenever I’m looking for my things .
I was simply looking for a backpack to use on the train to and from work that would eliminate having to constantly balance a tote bag on my shoulder. The tote would cause me so much pain having to stand on the train for 20 minutes every day. I also didn’t have easy access to pull out my car keys or parking ticket when I arrived back at the train station at the end of the day. This backpack is a game changer. My boyfriend is very into utilitarian products and found this for me. Not only is the bag small and fits comfortably on my shoulders, but the side pocket allows me easy and quick access to my keys and tickets and I don’t have to stop and go fishing around for anything anymore. Honestly so perfect. I love it so much and although it is small, it fits everything I need for work and I can fit a change of clothes for the gym.
This is a great backpack. My brother recommended me the brand and I was so happy because I got it as a gift for my partner's birthday in September. Shipping smoothly, quickly and in 11 days I already had it in Germany. Quality is great, feels really good. The smalls details are pretty nice, it's comfortable.
The issue is, even when I measure it before buying it and I read it was 12L, when it arrived I realized the size didn't fit my partner's needs. So I immediately ordered the Metro Backpack Pro and requested the return for this one.
Everyone online (and even that was my brother's understanding, who's a big Alpaka fan), seems to have a misunderstanding about Alpaka having a distribution center in Europe. My surprise was that the return is not only payed by me, which generally I wouldn't mind but the problems it's that I should send it back all the way to Australia (like whaaaat?). So for me to return a 85 euros backpack from Germany, I need to pay 56 euros. They also give you an option to take it to a distribution center, but it never mentions where these distribution centers are.
Reading online reviews in forums and other sites this has been a common dissatisfaction among people that love the brand, and ends up getting disappointed with return policies and customer service.

The bag itself is very cool and efficient. Vertical zipper for access below your shoulder is genius. However, what keeps me from giving it that last star is the Mag Lock it comes with. While very neat, it's not compatible with the Mag-Locks they sell separately. It would cool to see the same Mag-Lock sold as an accessory so you can have the same one on your key chain in lieu of having two or three different types on your key chain.
It is a great bag for office workers however, the extra fabric on the top of the zipper for water resistant purpose, makes it very difficult to unzip
