Metro Backpack (12L)

I absolutely love this backpack. I had the metro sling and that had been serving me well until I changed what I bring to work. I have notebooks and planners that I bring to work and the Metro Sling was getting crammed on space. So this bag opened up more space without being way too big like 90% of backpacks out there. It was difficult for me to find this size bag without being a sling. I had a specific need, I wanted a well made backpack for work that is just big enough for the few things I bring. I did not want a bottomless pit style that most are. This holds exactly what I want and has practical pockets along the way.

One very nice feature is the two elastic pockets on the inside. Perfect for holding my phones. I have a personal and work phone that I don't like carrying in my pocket. I try to keep phone use minimal so I prefer having it stored in my backpack. Out of all the bags I tried, at last this nails that perfectly. I have one phone perfectly snug in each of those pockets. The water bottle pocket provides just enough space for a Stanley 20 oz Slim Bottle or one like it.

The bag fits comfortable and like all Alpaka products is extremely well made!

The only thing taking some getting used to is the rain flap over the zipper. You need to learn to maneuver your fingers in a way that allows smooth movement of zippers without catching. Yet I actually like that at same time as I know it is extra protection from the elements!

I found that this backpack is just what I needed for my work, it is very compact and stylish. I have my water bottle , umbrella, iPad mini, medications and all other small gadgets nicely fit in side pockets . It gives easy access whenever I’m looking for my things .
