Flight Satchel

I was looking for an under the seat airline bag that would nearly fill the space but still leave enough room for my feet. This is the perfect solution. There’s enough room inside for anything that I might want to carry and there’s outside pockets for a water bottle and an umbrella.

Many online reviews stated that the shoulder strap cannot be shortened enough to make it usable. The adjustment buckle can go through the shoulder strap pad, which means you can shorten the strap alot. I think that reviewers didn't try to shove the buckle past the edge of the pad. They made the holes in the pad big enough for the buckle. The bag is very unstructured and thus floppy. My favorite shoulder bag is the Tokyo Tote because the sides and haul handles are stiff so the bag stays upright. But the tote won't fit a water bottle and umbrella in the end pockets with the main compartment zipped up, where the Satchel does.
