This has been my work bag for almost a year, and I’m mostly happy with it. The look is polished and sleek, and there are so many thoughtful design touches- the waterproof zippers are great, there’s lots of organization without compromising too much space, and the magnetic-close top handles are a nice touch. I’m also impressed and surprised by how well the carabiners and attachment points for the back straps have held up. I carry a heavy work laptop, normal EDC stuff like a wallet and keys, makeup bag, small tech like a mouse, charger, ereader, stationery, and a water bottle or umbrella on the outside. The bag is mostly full but not stuffed when I’m carrying it (mostly from the laptop).
My only complaint is a non-issue for some, and might be minor for others. The back straps, while reasonably comfy given the versatility, are positioned and shaped to be more comfortable on a body shape not like mine. I’m a 5’6” woman with reasonably wide, straight shoulders (17.5” across) for my size, but the straps can slide off my shoulders pretty easily. Tightening the straps only goes so far- the tighter they are, the more they cut into my chest, as the attachment points at the bottom span the full width of the bag. It’s not a bag I’d wear for a hike or a longer walking commute. Curved or differently shaped straps might also be more comfortable.
I like every other thing about this bag. I don’t think it needs a second water bottle pocket on the outside, and I think if the existing one…
