The bag itself is very cool and efficient. Vertical zipper for access below your shoulder is genius. However, what keeps me from giving it that last star is the Mag Lock it comes with. While very neat, it's not compatible with the Mag-Locks they sell separately. It would cool to see the same Mag-Lock sold as an accessory so you can have the same one on your key chain in lieu of having two or three different types on your key chain.
It is a great bag for office workers however, the extra fabric on the top of the zipper for water resistant purpose, makes it very difficult to unzip

Overall, this is a good quality minimal backpack that can be quite handy in use for some people. However, I found it poorly designed in terms of the function. First reason being the main compartment zip - the fabrics going over it often gets in the way, so opening the bag isn’t always smooth and easy. Second reason being the placement of a water bottle pocket inside the main compartment - it’s a very small bag and to utilise the space efficiently, I would rather keep such a relatively large item as a water bottle in a traditionally outer placed pocket, just like on other Alpaka backpacks. With the current solution, even a 450ml water bottle takes a lot of space in the bag, and the main compartment zip makes it even more troublesome if you often want to reach out for that bottle.
I will still recommend the product due to the overall quality but want to warn others to be mindful about the moments I found problematic.
I am fancy myself as an ALPAKA bag collector now, owning several slings and various pouches. I just received this bag over the weekend and really like it. My only gripe is the material. I would love to see it in a x-pac version with a high visibility lining like the slings. The material that it comes in is a little too crunchy for my taste.
