Dear Alpaka friends.
About a month ago I received my bravo sling bag. I've loved him for a long time, since the first time I saw him on Instagram. I was even scammed buying it from a fake online store. But hey, I already have the original.
Honestly, the materials and construction seem very good to me, but the design is not what I expected. I think there are some aspects of the design that can be improved:
1. When you put things in the front pocket, it shares the same cargo space as the main pocket, so it reduces and interferes with the main space that reduces its load.
2. The back pocket has the same problem as the front pocket. If you put some things wider, it takes up space in the main compartment.
3. Personally, I would have integrated an interior zippered pocket for small things that cannot be lost.
4. The interior pockets are very open, perhaps they could have an elastic at the top to keep objects more contained and with less possibility of moving inside.
5. Both the front pocket and the main one do not have a gusset (horizontal cargo space. I don't know if I explain myself well, I am using a translator, I spoke Spanish)
6. The closure of the main pocket does not reach the ends, this means that when one opens the "lid" it tends to stay closed and it is difficult to see inside to find things.
7. Perhaps they could include a rubber band to hold the external battery in place or to fix some other items.
Friends, I hope you take this feedback for good. I am an architect and designer, I am a fan of backpacks and bags, I have traveled to all continents and many countries and they are essential for everyday life. I have carried my EDC in a sling bag for years. Which consists of a small notebook, pencils, glasses, wallet, etc. Before receiving the Bravo Sling I was using the model that I leave in the following link, and to be honest, I find it easier to use for some aspects that I indicated previously and its price is only 28 US dollars. And its quality is very very good. I just leave it as a comment.
I would be very happy and willing to contribute design ideas for a Bravo 2.0
