Metro Backpack Pro

I really wanted this bag, in this color. As soon as it arrived, 10 days after purchase, I ditched my 22 L Bellroy and have been enjoying it non stop. My EDC carry is a 16 in Macbook Pro, 2 notebooks, Tomtoc 2.5 L tech case, Tomtoc 1 L case, Owala 24 oz, 2 sunglasses cases, pen holder, small lunch box. I can even put a rain jacket and umbrella. Size is fantastic.

Materials are high quality, YKK zippers all around for smooth operation, the interior is beautiful with subtle finishes like a brown rim on the interior pouches. Tech compartment has 3 dividers which is very convenient and the laptop section is well padded and smooth.

Last week I went on a 3 day trip just with this bag, so I added a packing cube for clothes and a toiletry pouch. It all fit but the bag was maxed out. Going thru airport security was easy, and here is where I noted what was missing… a side handle! Now back home even at the office or a restaurant i need this handle to access easily the side compartments. This, and the lack of a suspended laptop compartment is why I give 4.5 stars.

Would I recommend this bag? Heck yeah! Is beautiful.

As soon as I discovered the Metro Backpack (12L) I feel in love but knew it was too small for me, I wish I coud get the same bag but around the 20L mark. When the Metro Backpack pro launched I knew I had to get me one. The Bag is beautiful, very sleek and modern looking. I wanted to try the XPac material and I have to say it looks very sleek, I haven't been caught in a rain yet but looks very aterporoof and durable, It's very cool that this bag is built with VX42 insted of 21. The only complaint I have for this bag is the keyleash, that beign a keyleash it's supposed to be made to be around keys all day but the ring peels off (see enclosed images). I wish it could be made of a more resistent material o be coated with better type of paint, idk. Maybe even sell just the ring piece on the site just like you sell the male and female parts of the Hub Carabiner and Hub Keychain for sepparate. Overall a great bag, almost perfect if not for the keyring.
