Go Sling Nano

First and for most, the quality and materials are amazing. The size is also perfect for what I am looking for…a quick grab and go pack for my point and shoot camera. The Lieca DLUX 8.

Now, this bag could be perfect with a few additions. Easily turn this from a 3 star bag to a 5 star for me.

1) no handle - when you want to just hold this bag and move into a backpack or put it on the table, you have to hold it by either the shoulder strap or palm the whole bag. A simple handle would make this perfect. They do this on the larger models. I didn’t know I would need this until I took the bag for a spin for a week.

2) adding additional loop holes on the back to make this convertible to a hip pack. You can still make this a hip pack but it doesn’t feel comfortable. I know this is a sling but having that option would be amazing. I did try this as a hip pack and it was almost perfect. Just need additional loops that are more horizontal for a more natural fit.

3) the shoulder strap - the magnetic buckle is amazing but if you pack this out, it will slide around your back. There isn’t any rubber or resistance to hold it in place. Also adjusting this quickly could be improved. If this isn’t packed out it isn’t too much of an issue.

4) lastly I think adding some sort of molle webbing on the bottom could make this more modular for attachments. You could attach a mini tripod or clips. It could be great.

My needs are very specific so this may not apply to others. I will say I did search…

I was concerned that the Nano was going to be a bit too small, but it's the perfect size! It's extremely well made, fits a lot (my Vortex Diamondback HD 8x32 binocular, my battery pack, sanitizing wipes, business cards, pen, field notes, keys—plus, there is still room for my iPhone and more! What I really like is that it has enough compartments, but not too many where it gets confusing.

I love the Dark Green X-Pac VX21 fabric and the bright orange interior. The green matches my binoculars. Overall I am very happy with this purchase!

I recently got a larger sling bag from another company for a vacation I'm taking. That caused me to think a bit about what I might want when I'm NOT on vacation.

I remember seeing the ads for Alpaka on Facebook and other places so I looked you guys up. I wanted to start small, as this is my first Alpaka product.

I'm loving how I can actually fit everything in my pockets usually even what I carry on my belt (Leatherman tool, flashlight, and keys). But mainly I keep odds and ends in it, along with my sunglasses when I'm indoors. I'm tired of keeping them on my head out of necessity.

This little bag is very solid, a quality product and the magnetic strap is super cool. I'm planning on getting a larger bag (maybe the bright orange Go Sling) and maybe more of the cool key system.

Needed something bigger than what you get with your glucose meter and Alpaka came in with a knockout. Go sling nano perfectly holds your meter in the back pocket, meds in the middle, lancets on one inner pocket, hand sanitizer on the other pocket and emergency candy on the front zipper with a really nice magnetic key clip. When you hang the bag on your chest you can slide your phone in the exterior back pocket and it sticks out enough to record your adventures.

Quality wise... geeeeesh, outstanding.
