Flow Satchel (4L)

Been testing it out for about a week, and I really like it, it's become my main day bag and I've found myself leaving my backpack at home more often. I really like it for hikes because it's big enough to carry the things I want and the water bottle holder is really awesome. I like how it has organization but that it doesn't take up much of the actual storage space. I also really like the magnetic keyring attachment which is very convenient. The hidden back pocket also fits my kobo e-reader (libre 2) which is nice for when I want to stop and read.

When I have it loaded out the way I like it, it's not too heavy on my shoulder but some padding would be nice. I did also get the padded strap but it's too long even when maximally shortened so it's not useful to me. It could work if you don't mind the long strap (sits at my hip when fully shortened) or maybe if you're much taller than me (5'10").

I like the way the bag hugs my torso with the original strap, it feels very secure, and it doesn't bounce too much when I run (does bounce a little).

The main compartment can fit a steam deck with the slim case that comes with the OLED model, but it's a bit tight and can't fit much else with it in there. Without the case you can fit a bit more stuff but I haven't tested it much.

Overall, I love it and I'm excited to take it on all sorts of adventures.

I bought the Alpaka Go Sling Mini for my New York trip in 2022 and it was great but kept thinking that it would be even better if it had a bottle holder.

I found out Alpaka came out with the Satchel and I purchased it for my trip to Vancouver BC. It was just what I needed. Size 4L was perfect. Not too big and not too small. It has a bottle holder with a strap and zipper to keep it in place. It can also hold a portable umbrella too (Used it after it stopped raining in Seattle). They sell a mini sunglasses pouch that you can attach to this bag. It comes in handy for sure. Neat stuff!

Very well done, the finishing and the quality of the product feels very good. Looks like it is gonna be working for ever.

About the functionality is where my main constraints lives. The outside pocket can tightly holds a not so bulky wallet and some keys.

The 4 inside pockets have the same size, there is no pen pocket. There is also missing some kind of loop or something to be able to hang stuff in the inside.

At last, due the triangular shape of the bag there is less room on the top, so if the inside pockets are full that will make already tight to close the zipper. Leaving barely some room at the bottom of the bag to at something else.

In conclusion, very well done bag with some limited usability.

I would love to see this model in 8L size and with some extra fabric next to the zipper to make it smoother to close/open it
