As per another 1-star review here, the key detail description "Semi-padded sleeve fits 11" notebook or iPad Pro" is misleading. The 1-star review stated, "…a plain ipad pro 11 inch just barely fits."
Alpaka don’t know that the inch-measurement of a computing device refers to the viewable screen diagonal WITHOUT the bezel around the screen and WITHOUT the housing around the bezel. In other words, an 11" computing device will at least have an 11" screen plus the bezel plus the housing. My 11" 3-in-1 convertible notebook definitely didn't fit even with the keyboard detached.
Another thing to note is that the length of the semi-padded sleeve (unlike the Alpaka Metro Tote in medium size) isn't the full inside length. It stops well short and it's not apparent in the photos or the video.
I'm in Australia. Item seems to have shipped from USA. Opt to pay via AfterPay and payment will be in USD. The Essentials Tote cost: $62 AUD. Shipping cost: $8 AUD. I reused the original packing for return shipping. Return shipping to Victoria cost: $14.95 AUD. I opted for signature on delivery based on my previous negative experience of returning to Alpaka. Signature on delivey cost: $2.95 AUD. Confirmation of purchase print-out: $0.30.
