ALPAKA Sponsors Face Shield Donation Project by Hatch Duo
The coronavirus global pandemic has put our lives and the economy on hold. Since the start of this pandemic, we've been trying to find ways to put our resources to good use and help those that are most likely to be affected by this: Health Workers in the front line.
Part of our efforts has been to donate directly to Direct Relief, a non-profit organization that is "working in overdrive to get protective gear and critical care medications to as many health workers as possible, as quickly as possible, with emergency deliveries leaving daily for medical facilities across the U.S.".
After we found out our friends at Hatch Duo, a product design company in the Bay Area were working on creating and distributing Face Shields to local hospitals, we knew we had to get on board. So we sponsored part of this initiative in an attempt to show our support to Health Workers, and ultimately save lives.
