Flight Sling (1L) - Ultradyne

Just received my first ever sling bag and am impressed by the materials. The build quality is top notch with enclosures fully sealed from rain and other elements. I’m not much of a sling carrier and it feels a bit awkward for a mid-fifties dude to carry. But I have so much stuff that doesn’t fit into my pockets, so needed something to carry. Tell ya what, carrying this around in the eighties would’ve gotten me a wedgie for sure from classmates. Man purse, murse, whatever. I love this product though! The material is very crinkly loud when handling, so there’s that. So much for stealth mode when in public. The size is perfect for me to carry my iPhone 17 Pro, pocket knife, AirPods, pack of trident gum, lip balm, truck keys and sunglasses. 4 stars only because of the noisy material. Nice job, Alpaka!

Ultradyne is such an interesting material. It’s a love hate thing for most people especially with the fabric being very “crispy” and loud, but for me, this does not bother me at all. I love the details behind the scenes and appreciate the quality and durability of Ultradyne. I own the 2L xpac version but this 1L is the perfect pocket reliever. Was still able to carry more than what the average person would carry on a daily. A+++

Bought this sling for my wife who asked for a small sling that she can use on her walks and for our upcoming trip. Had been eyeing it myself as a smaller alternative to my daily sling when out and about. She is loving it so far! Uses all of the compartments to store her necessities. The ultradyne material is tough but very lightweight. Looking forward to see how it holds up against the elements.
