bit of a background for the review i'm writing below:
been in the carry game for some time so i have a bunch of different bags for different situations so i'm no stranger for slings and satchels amongst other cross bodies.
so initially i got this bag after trying to decide for a whole year between the flight and the flow satchel. ultimately decided on this, water bottle pocket that digs LESS into the internal real estate. (you have to remember slings and satchels already have limited space from the start anyway, if you want it bigger you'll end up with a duffel)
the capacity of this is just right, if you have a small sling/satchel it really limits you to the bare essentials, where as most average guys can just fill their pockets up and call it a day. so this bag is for when you want to carry your tech stuff, a light jacket, water bottle and a small umbrella amongst other small pieces.
the trap is REAL comfy, they obviously expected you to load this up at some point and it sure does make a difference in the comfort level when you load it up.
compartments and dividers totally make sense and you do not need to fish around for contents or have excessive movements just to obtain one item.
rigidity of the whole bag is nice too, the structure is not too firm that you look like you are carrying a small box on a strap but not too soft the bag folds onto itself when you have a few things in there.
if you want to grab a bag and you're not always needing a full back…
