My first X-Pac
Bought this for a few reasons.
1. Intro into more specialised bag makers - I chose Alpaka based on a solid reputation following lot of research. Also because I'm in Aus and like sticking with local brands when possible.
2. Needed a sling for an upcoming trip. The size needed to accommodate over rear headphones, wipes, passport etc. Between this and the "flight bag" I chose this based on the sale price and noted images indicated it would be good for the task. I think the flight bag would've also been fine but this is also...
3. X-pac. After all the hype, wanted to see it in person. Plus, love the contrasting orange interior.
In summary, Alpaka don't disappoint with ordering, receiving and, importantly, quality.
The size is indeed perfect for my needs and I can confirm loving the materials as well.
Minor critique - the magnetic strap clip is a little finicky at first but easy to use once you figure it out. I also with the strap was detachable like the flight version (an oversight on my part) but not a deal breaker as it's primarily for sling use. Otherwise it could've been used as a tech pack etc.
Overall, happy.

Retiring my V1
Been using my V1 for almost 3 years already, love the pack. Time for upgrade. A little bigger in size, upgraded to Xpac X42, reinforced Cordura. They removed the slot for padlocks on their front zippers., but its ok. Love the build quality. Will always be loyal to Alpaka
