I enjoy the Stash Pouch a lot more than I expected. It might be Alpaka's most versatile product in the smallest package. It is kind of half zip pouch on one side, and half mesh pouch on the other. On the zip pouch side you have a larger zip area with an aqu guard zipper and a sleeve that can hold credit cards or clip a pen or tool. On the other side is another zip compartment with a highly expandable mesh so it will accommodate a lot more than you think. You can put coins, tools, meds, etc. The mesh is not see thru and is very tough and durable.
On the negative is Alpaka's insistence on using Aquaguard zippers where they are not needed. Why would you need one on one side and not on the other? It makes no sense. Since the mesh side will not repel water well this pouch is really not something you would clip outside when it is raining. A reverse racquet coil zipper with a DWR finish would serve just fine. Also, there is no zipper garage so water can still get in on the aqua guard side in the gap.
