Memorial Day lands on Monday, May 26. By using four PTO days for the rest of the week, you'll create a nine-day break when spring weather is at its finest, but before peak summer crowds and prices.
INDEPENDENCE DAY STRATEGY
Take Monday June 30 - Thursday July 3 as PTO (4 days) = 9 days off (June 28 - July 6)
With July 4th falling on a Friday in 2025, taking the four days before creates another nine-day opportunity. You can practically smell the burgers grilling with this classic summer holiday.
THANKSGIVING TRIPLE
