Created by DuPont during World War II, its original intended purpose was for protecting aircraft personnel from shrapnel, bullets, and other ballistic impacts (hence the name).

FauxWool is a specialized fabric we developed with a Taiwanese mill that combines durability and aesthetics. It’s a mixture of nylon and polyester which gives it a high-end soft feel but is weatherproof and is highly abrasion-resistant.
