I shopped for a while before finding this bag. Being left-handed, I ordered both shoulders knowing that I would return one. It's first test was a recent 3-week trip to Egypt in which it excelled on the day-to-day (especially in Cairo) when I did not need a larger daypack for our excursions.
While it is very true that when carrying a water bottle, you are very limited on capacity; I never used it for a tablet, but it would still get tight with a water bottle and a sunglass case in addition to your basic small essentials. The biggest bonus what that it unexpectedly would securely fit and carry a 1.5L bottle of water if you use the cordage correctly around the neck of the bottle. Additionally, the luggage handle pass-through makes it the perfect personal item in addition to a carryon-sized suitcase.

The Alpaka crossbody is simply the definitive answer to my everyday needs. It fits the basic stuff, plus my Fuji camera and still has space to spare. This while keeping a compact look from outside. Great color and materials.
