Customers Talked About

Reviews Summary

Customers say this backpack is well-organized with excellent compartments, comfortable straps, and quality materials ideal for everyday carry and light travel. Many appreciate its sleek design, practical features like the quick-access pocket and water bottle sleeve, and ability to hold substantial gear while remaining compact. Some note the actual capacity feels smaller than advertised 30L, and a few mention the laptop compartment lacks robust bottom protection and the key leash can obstruct front pocket access.

Alpaka Traverse 30L XPAC
I recently received my Traverse Backpack 30L X-Pac, and I absolutely love the overall design, build quality, and functionality. It’s a fantastic travel and overnight bag, especially for someone like me who uses it for medical missions and travels in different areas of the Philippines. 🎒🇵🇭
I do have a few suggestions for future versions. I would love to see a chest strap that can be neatly hidden inside the shoulder straps, similar to the design of the ELECOM MNL City Pack. I also think the laptop compartment would benefit from a slightly raised or reinforced padded bottom for additional protection when the bag is placed on the ground.
Another feature I would really love to see is a new generation of ALPAKA packing cubes specifically designed around the Traverse 30L. The discontinued ALPAKA packing cubes fit the bag really nicely, and it would be great to see an updated version with a lightweight compression system so the cubes can expand when packing and compress afterward to maximize the available space.
Overall, I’m very happy with my Traverse X-Pac. These are just a few ideas that I think could make an already excellent backpack even better. Thank you, ALPAKA, for making such a thoughtfully designed bag! ❤️🎒

Perfect EDC Backpack
Been using the Traverse 30L as my EDC and really enjoy it. Plenty of space for daily essentials, great organization, comfortable to carry, and feels solid without being overly bulky. Great balance of size and practicality.
