Really nice

I researched sling bags for carrying my Lumix GX9 + kit lens for months. I wanted something that wasn't obviously a camera bag, but would give quick access to the camera (not a backpack) and work for hiking (not a messenger bag that flops around on your hip). After eliminating many other options I landed on the Go Sling Pro. I'm super pleased I was able to snag the Forest Green option as it's my favorite color. I only received it this morning so haven't had a chance to use it but the features and build quality are immediately impressive, and my camera fits easily with room for another lens, maybe two if I really pack it. I'm looking forward to having an excuse to use it.

One **** of a bag

Its smaller than expected BUT its really sturdy and compact. The look is as damn cool and I feel the magnetic modular system is really a briliant idea. I love it so much that i just purch the modular bundle and another bag!

Compact and still can accommodate to a lot of things in the bag. I like the overall feel of the bag. Probably the only downside for me is that the sling is a little bit too long to carry/sling tightly. But still, really good bag.

The bag is awesome. The strap, not so much.

I absolutely love the bag. However, the strap length doesn't stay locked when there's any weight at all in the bag (e.g., a camera or water bottle). Also, the pads for the strap are on the ends by the bag, not in the middle where you need them for your shoulder? Not sure what the thinking was for that latter design decision... Supposedly Alpaka is sending me a new strap but it has now been months. I am using a PeakDesign strap instead.

Great bag for mirrorless camera for EDC

I was looking for a small camera bag that would be able to carry around my Sony a7iii and also some other accessories such as portable phone charger, sunglass case, wallet, airpods. I have a 24-70mm lens on this, not a small lens at all but it still houses it pretty well. One of my favorite things about this bag is the strap adjusting system. I dont quite get it but its easy. I was a bit worried about the magnetic snap lock but its pretty sturdy/ reliable. My only complaint would be that the Alpaka logo on that front pocket creates a strange fold that makes it dent in that area (shown in photo). It doesnt affect the inside contents but just gets a little annoying to see. Other than that the bag is great and i would recommend this bag especially if you have the Sony a7iii with a smaller lens. (24-70 Sigma seems to be the threshold).

Great Everyday Carry for my Sony A7iii

A week or so in and I am really enjoying the go Sling Pro. Cosmetically, the orange inner is super cool and the forest green outer is subtle but appealing in much the same way as an aviator bomber jacket is. The other sling I have recently tried is the Bellroy Sling. By way of comparison, the Go Sign Pro is a touch bigger, but where it really shines is the structure and shape, especially for a camera and lens. I use the Sony A7iii + Tamron 28-75 RXD and this bag with divider keeps is structured and easy to remove and replace after slinging the bag to my front. The Bellroy Sling looks (IMHO) a little sleeker and fashionable, but the closure system means the ends pinch in and a camera is harder to remove and replace - it really made the bag borderline unusable despite looking fantastic. I only give this 4 stars for now because the strap system is good but a little rigid and I am yet to nail the position and tightness to avoid shoulder/trap pressure. Overall, I love it and recommend this sling, especially if you're Googling for this cam/lens combo like I was!

It smells like a mould

Shipping got delayed about 10 days or so but when I opened it quality was okay and everything was as described. Very strong mould smell was coming out of the bag and I left open for couple of days. - it still smells.

Something to consider

Overall, I thought this sling was very well made, well thought out, and had a lot of creative features. However, I had to send it back, because even on the strap’s tightest setting, the sling hung loose on my body, closer to my hip. Be aware that if you’re smaller in stature, this bag will fit you more like a crossbody bag rather than a sling that fits tightly against your back. I’m 5’ 1”, 130 lbs fyi. Other than this issue, great bag. But I’m very disappointed they did not design the strap to accommodate smaller sized bodies.
