Ballistic nylon is a specific type of nylon fabric designed for maximum durability and abrasion resistance and is used in most of our bags. Created by DuPont during World War II, its original intended purpose was for protecting aircraft personnel from shrapnel, bullets, and other ballistic impacts (hence the name).

FauxWool is a specialized fabric we developed with a Taiwanese mill that combines durability and aesthetics. It’s a mixture of nylon and polyester which gives it a high-end soft feel but is weatherproof and is highly abrasion-resistant.

Fits everything and more!

I bought this specifically for travel. I was able to fit my 14” MacBook Pro, all charges a canon m50 mk2 amongst many other things. Perfectly suited for travel and carrying everything you need.

Finally!

After years of trial and error, I finally found the right travel bag. It is perfect for what I carry and the material quality feels solid! There are multiple compartments which assure me a great packing experience. The only downside is that I cannot remain with just one because they have so many different options to choose from.

Alpaka Sling Max

What I like is the make, colour and the different ways to organise the items in the bag. A lot of thoughts have been put into the designing the bag. What is missing is a compartment to hold a small water bottle.

Excellent Travel Bag

I purchased this bag for my first international travel in 2022 since the pandemic halted almost all transportation in the world. It is just the right size to carry my personal items especially for domestic & international flights. I love that it has enough pockets, access to phone charging, & water resistant capability, and it carefully padded to protect my electronic devices. I can’t wait to use this bag for all my travels.

Alpaka never disappoints!

I been a huge fan since Kickstarter campaigns. The Bravo Sling Max is just the right size for on the go travel. It fits everything I need without having to carry around a huge backpack. The blue interior is nice, it makes it easy to find small items that fall to the bottom of the bag. It is spacious on the interior and the cool accessories from the HUB lineup make Alpaka stand out! Where to begin... this bag was an amazing surprise! I've been trying to find something of this caliber for way too long, specially due to my shoulders and back. Since I have a long chest and broad shoulders, some sling bags become a pain to wear and end up hurting my back on long periods of use, but with this product I'm finally over this issue. Quality is good, space is just perfect for this kind of bag, it's really stable and doesn't become a pain on long walks. Can fit my 13.5'' laptop, it can take all my 24/7 necessities with space to spare (even for a switch, if I decide to take mine)... it's the sling bag that has the design to do it all. The modular pieces also fit really well with the bag, belts, etc. Overall, it's the best sling bag out there, at least for me, and I can't stress enough how pleased I am with the purchase. Only my back sends more praise than me. Completely worth the investment!

Amazing !

Best bag ever

This might be the best bag I've ever used. Everything I need on a day for work fits in perfectly there is nearly no wasted space and yet I can still put my water bottle in it when I'm on the go. It's so comfortable to wear too. No complaints at all. If you need a daily bag to fit a small laptop or Ipad this thing is going to serve you well.

Comfortable and functional

This is a great item. It's very high quality. I bought this with the intention of turning it into a minimal photography kit bag. It's not exactly meant for that sort of thing, but I was able to turn it into one pretty well! And if you wear it in front of you, you can rest your arms on it comfortably while taking photos. Great product. Not to mention it came earlier than I thought it might.
