Bit Disappointed

On the positive side, it is larger then similar bags. However, my 15" laptop barely fits and it sticks out few inches from the laptop sleeve. The buckle that should allow you to change the length of the strap is useless. The strap movements are so constrained that buckle open or close doesn't make any difference so you have unnecessary extra weight and still unable to change the length of the strap unless you sit down and decide to spend several minutes to painfully force the strap. Dangling straps, noisy velcro.

I use it every day. Light, large capacity, comfortable to use. Above all, the style is good!

A beautiful bag that is overly designed (in a bad way)

I love the look of your bag. I love your design aesthetic. I like that you took a couple risks with bag design to make something unique. I don't, however, think that it all works together in one package. Let's start with the main strap. I have no idea what this was designed for. The primary feature you advertise on your website is the conversion into briefcase mode. It works for that... and literally nothing else. You have a stabilizer strap for "messenger mode" indicating you foresee three carry styles: briefcase, shoulder bag & messenger. Messengers need a quick-release to facilitate getting it on and taking it off. Putting the bag into messenger mode is a nightmare that I had to fix by re-threading the strap through the quick-release buckle. It still can't be done while wearing the bag, but at least I don't have to adjust it through both the quick-release buckle and the anchor buckle. I would also like to mention that the strap is WAY too stiff. When wearing it cross body, the strap doesn't move with my body as I walk and ends up digging into my side. There is a reason that most bags use seatbelt strapping. Its soft to the touch, tough as nails and moves with the body. I think the shoulder pad on the main strap is crazy thick and the pocket is mostly useless. If you cut a notch in the lower Velcro part that lines up with the pocket, it would make it better. I feel the entire strap mechanism is one of the cases where your innovations don't work. The bag is really heavy. The material selection is okay (I think the external fabric isn't going to patina particularly well, but right now, it looks amazing). I think you could have saved a ton of weight on padding and backing materials. The zippered organization panel is a perfect example. The padding on the front is crazy thick and I have no idea why. It's seems thicker than even the laptop compartment. The ****-ton of Velcro on the front is unnecessary, especially when you have a wonderful fidlock holding the flap down. Pick one or the other... or if not, give us a velcro silencer for the flap. The main compartment is hard to use. The extra long laptop strap, I assume, is to also be used as a compression strap. That sounds cool in theory, until you try to get your hand in the bag. That combined with the weird liner thing adds friction into the process of getting into the bag. I don't think the compression strap is an idea worth keeping. That's what the fidlock is for. Double up on them on the flap and I think you have a far more useful compression mechanism. I understand why you put the weird liner thing in the bag, to separate wet things from the inside of the bag... but I think it's overdesigned and just gets in the way of using the main compartment. Keep the side pockets for umbrellas and water bottles... ditch the front section. I hope you made it this far. I really do think you have an eye for stylish carry and I hope that one or two of these criticisms gets you thinking about making your next bag. I look forward to carrying it.
